How Are AI Scores Generated?
During quote collection, the AI model is prompted to identify not only relevant statements, but also to generate accompanying details:
Context – where, when, and how the quote was delivered (e.g., press conference, social media post)
Source – the original source of the quote
Analysis – a brief summary of the quote's meaning or implications
Once these fields are collected, each entry is submitted to AI again for classification. The model reviews the full entry — including the quote, context, and analysis — and then assigns a score using the DDM 4-point scoring system, along with an explanation for the assigned score. All AI-generated scores are then validated by human reviewers to evaluate how closely the model's reasoning aligns with human judgment.

Disclaimer on Scoring
All scores on this site are generated using artificial intelligence (AI) based on a structured rubric. AI evaluates each statement by analyzing language, context, and provided analysis. While AI is trained to apply the scoring criteria consistently, there may be instances where its evaluation differs from how an individual human reviewer might interpret the same material.
AI scoring tends to focus on explicit language, framing, and overall tone. It does not always account for subtle human factors such as emotional nuance, historical context, or unstated implications unless they are clearly present in the text and analysis provided.
We are currently in beta testing and are actively refining the system to better align AI scoring with human judgment. Our goal is to continuously improve the accuracy, reliability, and nuance of the scoring process.
We use AI scores to maintain consistency and transparency across all evaluations. However, users should understand that, like any evaluation system, AI scoring may occasionally rate a statement slightly higher or lower than individual human review would.
All scores reflect the application of the rubric to the best extent possible based on the available information.
